HISTORY

Cerrone Associates, Inc. was formed in 1964 from the firm A.R. Todd Associates.

It has maintained its base in Wheeling since then, providing civil consulting engineering services to public and private clients through northern, central and eastern West Virginia, eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

Cerrone & Vaughn formed from A.R. Todd Associates, Inc. Dominick E. Cerrone, PE serves as President.

1967
First sewer oxidation ditch in the state (Cameron, WV)

1970s
Cerrone & Vaughn provides consulting services to Claywood Park PSD, Mineral Wells PSD, Union Williams PSD, Central Boaz PSD, Friendly PSD, City of Glen Dale, Town of Harrisville, Mason County PSD, Marshall County PSD #4 and the Town of Bethany. All have continued to work with Cerrone Associates, Inc. to this day.

First public pressure sewer system in the state (Jane Lew, WV)

1983
First vacuum sewer system in the state (Ohio County PSD)

1987
First SBR plant in the state (Central Boaz PSD)

1987
Cerrone & Vaughn becomes Cerrone & Associates, Inc.

1995
First water supply infiltration trench in the state (Hammond PSD)

1996
Cerrone & Associates, Inc. changes to Cerrone Associates, Inc.

2003
Cerrone Associates, Inc. sees Preston County realize an almost 30-year effort to serve much of its Valley District, including Masontown and Reedsville.

2007
Cerrone Associates, Inc. sees completion of the Claywood Park PSD water treatment plant, including the state's largest application of upward spiral flow conical clarifiers.

2011
Cerrone Associates, Inc. sees Mason County PSD near completion of a large water extension project that will result in almost 95% of the large county having public water.
